Sark’s rescheduled Bonfire Night to take place this weekend

Sark’s Bonfire Night is due to be held this weekend following postponement as a result of Storm Ciaran.

Taking place in the Clos a Jaon field, the bar on the field will be open from 5pm shortly followed by fireworks and a bonfire. Live music will follow at the Captains Bar at the Island Hall.

Anyone kind enough to contribute towards the fireworks and insurance costs can get in touch with the organisers in advance through Facebook with any donations and proceeds going towards an electric wheelchair for the carers to use in the community.
