NEW DEPUTY HARBOURMASTER SOUGHT

Chief Pleas’ Harbours, Shipping & Pilotage Committee is seeking a new deputy Harbourmaster. A poster released on the government website confirms that it is a job share position with training commencing next month and the successful applicant will start in the role in January 2023. The advert confirms that:

‘The appointment will be made for an initial six-month probationary period. Subject to this being completed satisfactorily, the appointment will be made permanent. Copies of the job description and salary details can be obtained from the Committee Offices and applications posted to the address at the top of this notice or emailed to [email protected] with the names of two referees, one of whom should be local, are invited by: 22nd November 2022.’

Interviews for the position will be held the week commencing 28th November 2022.
