SARK’S ANNUAL DOG & PET SHOW RETURNS TO A DIFFERENT VENUE

Sark’s annual Dog & Pet Show returns again this summer though it will now take place on the news site of the Mermaid Field. Gates open at 11.30 am, with a small fee for entry, before the show commences at 12 noon. There will be a licensed bar and food stall for refreshments as well as teas, coffees, cakes and ice-creams

With plenty of classes for dogs lined up, local dogs as well as visiting dogs are welcomed. Last year, local charity Paws for Support completed a demonstration highlighting their services. Paws for Support is a Guernsey based charity that uses highly trained dogs to improve people’s lives within the Bailiwick. This year, there will be a talk and a display by the Guernsey Police Dogs and their handlers during a break in classes. Organisers look forward to welcoming everyone.
