Sheep Racing Committee raises over £500 to start off 2023

The Sark Sheep Racing Committee held the first of their fundraising events for 2023 this week with a bingo night at Nova’s Café. More than £500 was raised towards the Professor Saint Fund which subsidises prescriptions on the island. Lynda Higgins, on behalf of the committee, said:

‘Thank you to Mad and Keith Guille for hosting the event, our bingo caller Reg Guille who was excellent and made the evening great fun, to those who donated prizes and those who came to support the event.

I am pleased to say that our combined efforts raised a grand total of £557 which is a fantastic amount. That would not have been possible without your help which is much appreciated and sets us well on course towards raising a goodly amount for the Professor Saint Medical Fund in 2023.’
